What is Candida?
Candidiasis: A total-body infection caused by type of yeast called candida albicans. Candidiasis is the most under-diagnosed medical condition in the United States. It is estimated that up to 70% of the population suffers from this hard-to-diagnose condition that can trigger dozens of other unpleasant symptoms and ailments.
Everyone normally has a little candida or yeast in their gastrointestinal tract. Its overgrowth leads to problems. This occurs when too much of our "good bacteria" that keeps candida in check dies off. Common killers of friendly bacteria are antibiotics, sweets, steroids, birth control pills, estrogen replacement drugs, caffeine, and alcohol and prolonged stress. A diet high in leavened or aged foods can also cause the overgrowth of yeast. Once candidiasis sets in, candida puts out a number of toxic by-products which weaken the body in different ways. As candidiasis progresses, it inhibits nutrient absorption and slows the metabolism, which triggers sluggishness and intense cravings of sweets, chocolates, breads, pasta, etc. Eventually, candida changes into a fungus (rhizomes) that burrows into the intestinal wall allowing yeast, fungus and particles of food (toxins) into the bloodstream, further stressing the immune system and setting you up for more health problems.
What symptoms does it cause?
Candida was reported in 1983 by C. Orian Truss in his book The Missing Diagnosis. The report included a number of symptoms consisting mainly of fatigue, headaches, mental/emotional irritability, depression, and difficulty concentrating, and gastrointestinal symptoms such as bloating, GERD, and constipation as well as skin problems, headaches, recurrent infections vaginal, sinus, urinary, prostate joint pain, allergies and possibly a number of other symptoms. In addition, candida has caused intense cravings for foods it feeds on such as sweets, chocolates, breads, pastas, etc., thereby causing weight gain or keeping people from losing weight.
How do I treat it?
There is no medical test for candida. Since the condition has not been the subject of medical research, most medical doctors hesitate to diagnose it.
However, if our FREE TEST indicates you have a candida OR yeast problem or if you already know you suffer from this condition, there is an all-natural product known to be effective, that product is THREELAC. THREELAC is a proprietary formula produced by Global Health Trax, Inc. (GHT). It contains 3 types of live lactic acid bacteria that begin to work immediately to rid the body of troublesome organisms. THREELAC comes in good tasting powdered form, packaged in dosage size containers for easy use.

Can ThreeLac be used as a douche or as part of a colon cleanse?
No. There have been no tests done regarding placing ThreeLac in any other orifices than the mouth, so we don't recommend it.
How do ThreeLac organisms differ from other probiotic organisms?
All intestinal friendly flora have in common that they support the health of the intestinal tract. ThreeLac organisms are no exception. Each type has it's own job to do. ThreeLac organisms are somewhat more assertive toward certain strains of fungi and yeast than L. acidophilus, for example, but work compatibly along with other necessary probiotics.
How many Colony Forming Units (CFU's) of each bacillus are there in ThreeLac?
There are 200 million CFU's of Bacillus Coagulans, 25 million CFU's of Bacillus Subtilis, and 25 million CFU's of Enterococcus Faecalis in each packet. It is, however, the micro-encapsulation process that allows high survivability of organisms through the stomach acids.
Why is there yeast in ThreeLac?
The refined yeast powder in ThreeLac comes from a beet source and acts as a food source for the bacilli. It will not worsen a candida condition because it is not an active yeast.
What does the "fiber" on the ThreeLac label refer to?
The designation "fiber" refers to the small amount of fructooligosacharrides (FOS) which assist the function of the probiotics. It is not intended as an additional source of fiber.
Does ThreeLac require "no dietary changes" as your website suggests?
No matter what kind of diet an individual prefers to eat or if you use the recommended dietary plan some researches suggest, from no dietary changes at all --to a strict anti-candida diet, ThreeLac can help if it addresses your particular candida and or fungal strains. The more "fronts" the problem is addressed on, the greater the possibility of help.
Now that I'm taking ThreeLac, can I stop taking other probiotics?
ThreeLac is not a comprehensive probiotic product. It contains three strains somewhat more assertive toward fungi and yeast than other friendly flora, but is not a replacement for other friendly flora, which may also be needed. ThreeLac works compatibly, however, with other friendly flora.
Does ThreeLac have to be refrigerated?
No it doesn't, unless the temperature in your home is extremely high, and intolerable to live in. Refrigeration is a fine option, provided the product does not become frozen. Storing in a cool, dry place, such as a cupboard or on a shelf is also an option.
Is there any research on ThreeLac validating its effectiveness?
Dr. Gary Shima, M.D. performed a physician-assisted study in 2004 to address some basic questions for us. Results of that two-month study are available on our website. ThreeLac comes to us from Japan with a high track record of sales, and continues to be one of our most in-demand products. We have incorporated all the information given to us by the manufacturer into our literature.
Will ThreeLac help me lose weight?
ThreeLac is neither a weight-loss nor a weight-gain product per se. Weight may lower, however, when taking ThreeLac as a result of the reduction of bloating, one of the many symptoms of a yeast overgrowth. Individuals differ and responses may vary.
What other remedies can I take along with ThreeLac?
There are many candida remedies, as well as medications, on the market. It would be impossible for us to research them all. Please consult with your healthcare practitioner as to what remedies and/or medications are compatible with probiotics. Taking one remedy at a time might be helpful in order to discern which product helps and which does not.
Is there any lactic acid, casein, or gluten in ThreeLac?
None whatsoever.
Which products in the Full Yeast Recovery Program might be best for me?
Each product is included because it has something unique to contribute. Some people may want all five; some may want one or two. Individual needs vary. ThreeLac is the primary product designed to help reduce some of the common strains of fungi and yeast. Oxygen Elements Plus may help because research has highlighted oxygen's ability to reduce anerobic organisms. Active Digestive Enzymes break down food particles that yeast and fungi dine on, and can help weaken the cell wall and inner part of the yeast. Colostrum FM can help repair a leaky (porous) gut lining resulting from a yeast overgrowth, and minerals can help alkalize the body.
What sort of diet is recommended when taking ThreeLac?
It is commonly know that refined sugars and refined, white carbohydrates are some of the candida "food favorites". Consult with a health care practitioner, your local health food store, and/or the internet for more detailed information on diet. There is much information already available. Whether you choose to follow a very stringent dietary program or make no dietary changes at all, ThreeLac may be beneficial.
How do ThreeLac organisms differ from other probiotic organisms?
All intestinal friendly flora have in common that they support the health of the intestinal tract. ThreeLac organisms are no exception. Each type has it's own job to do. ThreeLac organisms have been shown to be somewhat more assertive toward certain strains of fungi and yeast than L. acidophilus, for example, but work compatibly along with other necessary probiotics.
